Frequently Asked Questions

  • How effective is hair transplant surgery?

Following a hair transplant you will notice that your transplanted hair follows the same pattern as it did in the area it was taken from. It will therefore not be subject to the same hair loss pattern and, if done by a reputable surgeon, should last a lifetime.

  • How long is the recovery period?

As far as the healing process goes there is little time required to recover. Many people are happy to resume work straight away. You may wish to take time off in order for the hair to start growing if you would prefer to keep your procedure private.

  • How long does Hair Transplant Surgery take?

Depending on how much hair you wish to transplant, and the results you are looking for, surgery typically takes anything from 4-8 hours. You will be under the watchful eyes of the surgeon and their team to ensure complete safety and comfort throughout.

  • Is this a safe procedure?

Yes, absolutely. Both FUT and FUE are considered some of the safest procedures available. You will feel safe in the knowledge that you are surrounded by a team of professional, skilled team, and our aftercare is second to none.

  • If I choose a non-surgical treatment is it permanent?

Non-surgical treatments are not a permanent solution and will require regular ‘top ups.’ They can be used as a stand-alone treatment, or in conjunction with one of the other treatments we offer.

  • Will there be any scarring?

This depends upon the patient and the treatment they have undertaken. FUE is expected to avoid noticeable scarring, whereas FUT may leave a mark at the donor site, but this will fade with time.
